You're Formally Invited

to GO. As we are leaving the grocery store, sitting in the van waiting to turn onto the road. I, exasperatedly, stated, "oh, you could have gone" - 6 cars could have gone with that opening. To which GM, asks sweetly from the back seat, "Is she waiting for an invitation?" I replied, "yes, and a formal one at that." It also reminded of how many times I say "what are you waiting for? an invitation?", obviously way too many times. And as I finally drive down the road, I see the layout that will soon ensue.
